Update for November 7, 2025

Culvert installation is complete.  Base asphalt paving on Buena Vista Drive is complete.  Base and wearing course asphalt paving and asphalt driveway tie ins on Skyline Drive are expected to be completed today.  Concrete driveway tie ins on Skyline Drive will be completed next week. Due to recent wet weather affecting the reclaimed asphalt/gravel base, wearing course asphalt paving on Buena Vista Drive will be postponed until next spring.

Good news, paving on the Mill and Overlay streets is nearly complete! Culvert installation along Skyline Drive and Buena Vista Drive will start early next week. The schedule for concrete work along Skyline Drive is pending. It will either be the end of this week or will be pushed into next week. Paving along those streets has also been pushed to next week.
We greatly appreciate everyone’s patience and cooperation during this project as crews work diligently to complete these areas. Regular updates will be provided to keep residents informed of the progress.

Week of October 14

Asphalt paving on all streets with the exception of Skyline Drive and Buena Vista Drive is now scheduled to begin this week on Wednesday and is expected to extend into Thursday. Driveway access will be limited for a few hours during paving operations. Residents are advised to park on side streets during paving to avoid being trapped in driveways during paving operations. Once the paving crew has finished compacting the asphalt pavement and has moved to another street, residents may access their driveways.

Concrete driveway removals along Skyline Drive began on Monday this week. Concrete is expected to be poured on Friday this week. Residents must wait at least 4 days after the concrete is poured before driving on the new concrete. If all concrete work is completed on Friday the 17th, the earliest residents could drive on the new concrete would be Wednesday the 22nd. As noted in a prior update, residents will be allowed to park their vehicles along the northwest side of the Skyline Drive, adjacent to the golf course while access to driveways is limited.

Week of October 8: Rochester Sand and Gravel completed pavement reclamation and milling this week. Asphalt paving on all streets with the exception of Skyline Drive and Buena Vista Drive which is currently planned for the end of next week. The exact date is currently unknown and will depend on when they are able to complete other paving projects they are working on. We will provide an update as soon as the date is confirmed!
As a part of the project, in order to match the elevation of the new pavement along Skyline Drive, the ends of several driveways will need to be removed and replaced. The extents of driveway removal and replacement will vary for each property, ranging between 4 ft to 10 ft in length for the entire width of the driveway. Door hanger notices will be distributed to those properties affected by this work. Those driveways that are currently asphalt will be replaced with asphalt. Concrete driveways will be replaced with concrete.
The driveway work along Skyline Drive is expected to begin on Monday October 13th. Starting Monday, October 13th to Monday, October 20th, access to those driveways will be limited, especially for concrete driveways to allow time for the concrete to cure. During this time, residents will be allowed to park their vehicles along the northwest side of the Skyline Drive, adjacent to the golf course.
Culvert replacement work along Skyline Drive and Buena Vista drive is currently
expected to being on Wednesday, October 22nd and completed by October 23rd. During culvert replacement, temporary bypass roads will be constructed to allow traffic to continue to travel along those streets. If the culvert installation schedule is met, then paving on those two streets is expected to occur on Friday, October 24th. However, this is dependent on weather and culvert installation progress. We will provide and update if that date is expected to change as soon as we are made aware of it.
We apologize for the inconvenience these necessary improvements are causing and thank you in advance for your cooperation and patience during this project!
