The Wabasha Fire Department is seeking dependable, dedicated community-minded individuals to serve as Volunteer Firefighters. In this role, you will be a vital part of our emergency response team.
Key Responsibilities

- Respond immediately to fire, medical, rescue, and hazardous emergencies.
- Extinguish fires and safely operate specialized tools and equipment.
- Provide first aid, CPR, and assist medical personnel with patient stabilization.
- Participate in community service activities and school safety education events.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on firefighting apparatus and gear.
- Attend all mandatory monthly training sessions and department meetings.
Position Qualifications

- Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of application.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Must hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must successfully pass a physical examination and drug screening.
