The Wabasha Fire Department is seeking dependable, dedicated community-minded individuals to serve as Volunteer Firefighters. In this role, you will be a vital part of our emergency response team. 

Key Responsibilities
    • Respond immediately to fire, medical, rescue, and hazardous emergencies.
    • Extinguish fires and safely operate specialized tools and equipment.
    • Provide first aid, CPR, and assist medical personnel with patient stabilization.
    • Participate in community service activities and school safety education events.
    • Perform routine preventative maintenance on firefighting apparatus and gear.
    • Attend all mandatory monthly training sessions and department meetings.


Position Qualifications

    • Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of application.
    • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
    • Must hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
    • Must successfully pass a physical examination and drug screening.
