Flowers are blossoming, the grass is turning green in Wabasha, spring has sprung and our Public Works Department is staying busy with projects!

  • Volleyball courts are up for volleyball league season
  • The City dock is in so boaters can dock at the free public dock in Wabasha and visit our restaurants, downtown, and the National Eagle Center
  • New wayfinding signage installed last fall is helping visitors this summer find their way to major attractions
  • Senior banners were hung downtown this week, a reminder that our Wabasha high school Seniors are about to embark on the new stage of life
  • Our Market and Washington street project storm basins are being installed, next week, road work will begin! The new storm infiltration pond will improve flood containment during large flood events.
  • Isaac Walton is ready for Saint Jude’s Dick Hiley Bassic Class Tournament- which will bring hundreds of visitors to Wabasha.
  • Fixing potholes and prepping the pool will begin next week!

A special thank you to Brandon Huth, Zach MacNallan, and Tony Johnson for keeping everything moving while we are short-staffed!
