The City of Wabasha is looking at the future needs of its ambulance station and City Hall and the possibility of a future joint building. The City held an open house on May 14th at the Ambulance Station. About 25 members of the public attended along with 10 Council Members and staff members. The City presented information from the feasibility study that it conducted on a new combination Ambulance, Police Station and City Hall that would support the space needs and improve functionality of their departments. At the open house, residents also learned about the impact of the potential impact of various option on their property taxes. Click on the link below to see the impact. Each attendee was asked to complete a questionnaire and the City will look at the results of the survey at their next June 3rd Council Meeting.
