Liesl Knox
The City of Wabasha and the Wabasha Public Library are excited to welcome Liesl Knox as our new Library Director. Knox has worked as a librarian with the Wabasha Public Library for six years. Prior to that, she served on the Library Board. She possesses a Master’s of Arts in Human Resource Development from University of St. Thomas and a Bachelor’s degree in communications. At the Wabasha Public Library, she recently led the Library Mural Project which involved securing over $27,000 in grants, managing the grants, and resulted in a beautiful library addition plus educational workshops. She also successfully led an initiative for a library policy revision. She also brings experience as a workforce consultant in a large corporation in strategic planning and process redesign, having led multidisciplinary teams.
