TH 60 Realignment Project
The City of Wabasha is planning a realignment of Trunk Highway 60 to improve safety, reduce flooding closures, and support community growth. The project will construct a new roadway segment that eliminates a dangerous T-shaped intersection at the foot of the steep bridge approach and raises the road above the 100-year flood elevation.

- Moves traffic out of residential neighborhoods
- Supports new housing and commercial development
Funding Sources
- Congressional Funding: $5 Million
- TED funds: $2 Million
- Wabasha County CSAH and Bridge Funds: TBD
- State Capital Bonding: Pending
Estimate Start Date
The estimated start date for construction is Spring through Fall of 2027.
