Notice of Hearing on Improvement
Notice is hereby given that the city council of the City of Wabasha will meet in the Council Chambers at City Hall (900 Hiawatha Drive East) at 6:00 p.m. on July 1, 2025, to consider the 2025 Street & Utility Improvements project pursuant to Minn. Stat. §§ 429.011 to 429.111 for the improvement of:
· Buena Vista Drive – Between Bruegger Valley road and its terminus
· 4th Street West – Between Maiden Avenue and Shields Avenue
· 3rd Street West – Between Shields Avenue and Cratte Avenue
· Skyline Drive – Between TH 60 and its terminus
· 4th Grant Boulevard – Between Market Street East and Pembroke Avenue
· Alley – Between Lawrence Boulevard East and Main Street East
· Washington Avenue – Between Market Street and 240-ft north of Hiawatha Drive
· 11th Street East – Between Broadway Avenue and Pierce Avenue
by bituminous mill and overlay, bituminous reclamation and paving, bituminous curb, spot repair of concrete curb and gutter, valve adjustments, casting adjustments and related infrastructure; and
· Market Street East – Between Pierce Avenue and Main Street East
by full replacement and reconstruction of the bituminous pavement, curb and gutter, sanitary sewer, watermain, storm sewer, and related improvements.
The area proposed to be assessed for such improvement includes the property adjacent to the streets described above. The estimated cost of the improvement is $2,032,920. A reasonable estimate of the impact of the assessment will be available at the hearing. Such persons as desire to be heard with reference to the proposed improvement will be heard at this meeting.
