The 2024 Street Improvement project began work last week and continued this week with milling of the existing asphalt. The project was initiated by the City to improve pavement conditions along the following streets.
- Market Street West – Between Alleghany Avenue and 3rd Street East
- Franklin Avenue – Between Market Street West and 2nd Street East
- Jefferson Avenue – Between Market Street West and 3rd Street East
The project generally consists of an asphalt mill and overlay and replacement of asphalt curb and is expected to be complete by mid-October.
