Wabasha Athletic Field is taking shape

So much progress has been made with the Athletic Field Complex since the groundbreaking began in July this year, even the grass is green and growing thanks to Mother Nature! As you can see from the drone footage courtesy of Jim Mathias, the baseball and softball fields, tennis courts, pickleball, basketball courts, and ice/hockey rink are easy to identify from above. The concession stand facility which will be constructed by Schmoker Construction will double as the warming house in the winter months for the ice/hockey rink. Pember Companies, Danckwart Landscaping, and Schmoker Construction will finish the project in the spring of 2024. The Athletic Complex Steering Committee is grateful for the hard-working fundraising efforts and donations received towards this project and the community support!
