TH 60 Realignment Project 

The City of Wabasha is planning a realignment of Trunk Highway 60 to improve safety, reduce flooding closures, and support community growth. The project will construct a new roadway segment that eliminates a dangerous T-shaped intersection at the foot of the steep bridge approach and raises the road above the 100-year flood elevation.

  • Moves traffic out of residential neighborhoods
  • Supports new housing and commercial development

Funding Sources

  • Congressional Funding: $5 Million
  • TED funds: $2 Million
  • Wabasha County CSAH and Bridge Funds: TBD
  • State Capital Bonding: Pending

Estimate Start Date

The estimated start date for construction is Spring through Fall of 2027.
