The City is planning for the reconstruction of streets and utilities within portions of the downtown in the summer of 2023. The improvements will consist of the full reconstruction of street, sanitary sewer, water main, and storm sewer. The map above shows the general project area. The City will be hosting an informational meeting for interested property owners, residents, and business owners. The purpose of the meeting is to provide an informal opportunity to learn about the project and ask questions before the Improvement Hearing. The meeting will be an open-house format with a brief presentation shortly after the start of the meeting. The presentation will provide the outcomes of the project Feasibility Study that addresses the project scope, estimated costs and funding for the project including preliminary assessment ranges.
The meeting will be held at the National Eagle Center Main Street location on Thursday, July 21st from 5:00 P.M. to 6:30 P.M. The meeting will provide an opportunity for residents and business owners to learn about the project and provide their input on current needs or concerns within the corridor and provide input on potential improvements.
