The City of Wabasha wants to hear from you! The City is planning for the reconstruction of streets and utilities within portions of the downtown in the summer of 2023. The improvements will consist of the full reconstruction of street, sanitary sewer, water main, and storm sewer. The map above shows the general project area.
The City will be hosting an open-house style meeting for any interested property owners, residents, and business owners. The meeting will be held at the National Eagle Center Main Street location on Thursday, May 26th from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. The meeting will provide an opportunity for residents and business owners to learn about the project and provide their input on current needs or concerns within the corridor and provide input on potential improvements.
As part of the project, the design will incorporate outcomes of the Downtown Streetscape Plan being completed in parallel to this project during the summer of 2022. For more information on this plan and to learn about community engagement opportunities, see the schedule on the back.
We look forward to hearing from you!
