NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to the Public that on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, the Wabasha Planning Commission will hold a public hearing to consider changes to Wabasha City Ordinance. The City is updating the Floodplain Management Ordinance to incorporate the updated Flood Insurance Rate Map panels and accompanying Flood Insurance Study for Wabasha County including the City of Wabasha. Per Minnesota Statute, Section 103F.121, the MnDNR finds that the City’s drafted floodplain management ordinances substantially complies with the state floodplain management rules (Minnesota Rules, parts 6120.5000 to 6120.6200) and the standards from FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency)
This public hearing will take place at the regular monthly meeting of the Wabasha Planning Commission which will be held at the Wabasha City Hall, 900 Hiawatha Drive. This meeting begins at 6:00 p.m. and other items are on the agenda.
