The City of Wabasha is seeking applicants for the 2026 season at the Wabasha City Pool. Positions available: Lifeguards, Water Safety Instructors (WSI), and Front Desk Attendants. The deadline to apply is March 15, 2026. All returning staff must reapply!
Minimum requirements to apply: Lifeguards must meet minimum age requirements and possess or obtain through provided training courses the American Red Cross Lifeguard/First Aid/CPR certifications. WSI Instructors must meet minimum age requirements and possess or obtain through provided training courses for certification. Front desk attendants must be of legal age.
Hourly wages: New Lifeguards $12.50; Returning Lifeguards $13.50; New WSI Instructors $16.00; Returning WSI Instructors $16.50; and New Front Desk Attendants $16.50
Training courses are provided and will be held at the Wabasha City Pool on the following dates.
New Lifeguards: Saturday, June 6th & Sunday, June 7th | 8AM – 4PM
New Water Safety Instructors: Tuesday, June 9th & Wednesday, June 10th | 8AM – 4PM
Lifeguard Recertification: Saturday, June 6th | 4:30PM – 9:30PM
