Wabasha Public Works will be completing a dead/diseased Ash tree survey in Wabasha. If you have any dead/diseased Ash trees on your personal property, you will need to schedule removal for the safety of the general public. City Ordinance states, you will have 22 days to respond to the letter which will be sent. Current guidelines require dead/diseased Ash trees to be removed October 1st through May 1st, and the City will be giving you a timeframe to plan the removal, which will be required by October 21st. If the trees are not removed by October 21st, the City will be ordering the removal and placing the removal costs on your taxes.
