Would you like to help the City of Wabasha make decisions on street improvements, parking issues, capital equipment purchases, project lists, signage improvements and much more? If so, the City of Wabasha Street Commission has had one vacancy since the end of year 2019. We are looking for the right candidate to fill those shoes. If you are interested, please contact City Hall, and ask for an application to be a member of our boards/commissions. Volunteering your time to serve on our boards & commissions, helps guide our fine city in the correct direction and plan for the future. Previous knowledge in Public Works functions is preferred.
The Street Commission meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 8:30am at City Hall, 900 Hiawatha Drive, East.
The Street Commission develops short and long term plans for all streets, alleys, sidewalks and storm sewers within the City of Wabasha and directs the maintenance of same.
