Today, the Wabasha City Council at their meeting at 6PM, will celebrate the 5-year anniversary of Lisa Springer, Office Manager.
Lisa, like a few others, came on board during a high stress time with only being in the office a little over a month with the COVID pandemic hitting. In true Lisa fashion and with little oversight, she helped innovate and streamline City services for the public and staff during uncharted waters. Lisa is always willing to step in and help whether personal or professional. She is a key connector between all of the City Departments as well as many resource connections with in the community. Lisa is considered the City’s front line of contact and provides the best level of customer service for each person she encounters. Lisa provides staff support to the Street and Park Commission and is the City’s IT go-to person. She can juggle several projects and bring you fresh warm baked cookies to boot. Lisa is also known for being the “Mary Poppins” of the office, if you’re in need, she’s probably got something in her bag, desk drawer or trunk of her car, you just need to ask.
The City extends a heartfelt congratulations on Lisa’s 5th work anniversary as our dedicated Office Manager. Her dedication and hard work do not go unnoticed, and we are truly grateful for all that she does.
