Thanks to the many donations that were received, the Public Works Department was able to spruce up “Rotary” Beach Park. Gone are the many overgrown plants and dying trees. The project led by Brandon Huth with the assistance of Ty Horgan and Brady Wodele consisted of removing/trimming back existing plants and what took their place was a range of Hydrangeas, Spirea, and wild grasses mixed in with new mulch. The new plants can be seen throughout beach park including around the gazebo, the bathrooms, the main park shelter, and of course the entrance of “Rotary” Beach Park. In addition, the pergola at the entrance also received a new coat of white paint.

The donations were made in a memorial for David Ochsner.
