Street Department

The City’s Street Department has the responsibility of snow removal during the winter months, street repairs, sign maintenance, and more.

How do I report a street light outage?
Call City Hall at (651) 565-4568 to report a street light outage.
Please have the following information handy:

  • location of street light
  • nearest residence
  • nearest cross street
  • number on streetlight (if possible)

What is the city’s snow removal policy?
The City of Wabasha assumes basic responsibility for the control of snow and ice on city streets. Reasonable snow and ice control is necessary for routine travel and emergency services. The city will provide such control in a safe and cost effective manner, keeping in mind safety, budget, personnel and environmental concerns. The city will utilize city employees, city equipment and/or private contractors when necessary to provide this service.
