Wabasha Ambulance Service
Your community Emergency Medical Service

Wabasha Ambulance Service provides Part-Time Advanced Life Support, 911 Emergency, Interfacility Transfers and ALS Intercepts. We are community based with a history dating back to the 1980s. We provide service to the cities of Wabasha and Kellogg and surrounding townships that cover 135 square miles. We serve approximately 8,000 residents and thousands of additional visitors throughout the year.

Our service has dedicated staff and volunteers who provide over 17500 hours of coverage each year. We work closely with our partners including Gundersen St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center, Wabasha Fire/Rescue, Wabasha Police Department, Kellogg First Responders, Kellogg Fire Department, and the Wabasha County Sheriff’s Department.

We respond to approximately 700 requests for service and transport over 500 patients each year.

The Wabasha Ambulance Service also provides Emergency Medical Education for both the public and professional rescuers. We offer a free “Hands Only CPR” course to the public. Additional classes are available for Adult, Child, and Infant CPR, First Aid, and Emergency Medical Technician re-certification. Fees vary for certification courses.
