Ambulance Service
Wabasha’s Community Ambulance Service has 15 volunteer members who provide 24-hour ambulance service to the community. All members are state certified Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT’s). The service has two fully equipped ambulances. Services include first response and transfer services of patients to local health facilities, and also those facilities located in the Minneapolis, St. Paul, and Rochester areas.
The Wabasha Ambulance Service also provides service to surrounding communities and townships. A new ambulance garage and training facility was constructed in 1991.
Air ambulance service is provided to our community by the Mayo I helicopter from the Mayo Clinic and St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, MN, which is just 40 miles away.
